I dream it is December 24, Santurantikuy in Cusco. In my dream, I wake up at dawn. I will see ,for the first time that beautiful and so famous fair, it does not rain in that time and a few have already pitched their stands, those fortunate enough to have plastic, other, the community people, sitting on the moist soil. preparing to sell its various types of grass, herbs and ichu for cribs, entire families have come from the up hills. At the door of the Compañia, someone distributes hot chocolate to the peasants who do not dare to approach. Many kiosks are modern, many original, very good prices and lots of movement. In 45 minutes I get exhausted spending my savings and those of others on purchasing articles for the crib and gifts, I leave with full bags and hurried frightened seeing the sky and begging for the departure of my plane.
I dream that I get into the plane, and that the runway goes through several districts of the city; Wanchaq, Santiago, San Sebastian, San Jerónimo, a dream that we fly over a sea of clouds and then reach the coast, I see the sea saying welcome to me with reflected sunlight sparkles like silver flying fish, thousands of them and always following the plane, finally the plane touches ground in Lima, after seeing the vastness of the city and the cars like ants in all directions of long avenues and hundreds of ovals, how huge is this city i I realize that my little Cusco is the size of its runway, which allows me to say goodbye to almost all districts visually.
I dream that this time my German nephew and niece receive me at the airport, , My niece drives through Lima dodging the traffic as a skilled bullfighter, I admire her for this suicide action.
I dream that I get home and my mother, not knowing about my arrival, is led into a room with closed eyes to welcome me in a hug that reflects her great joy and excitement to share this hours together.
I drea, with all the preparations for Christmas Eve, the Peruvian turkey dinner P and German one with Duck, try to sleep with the cats snuggling and giving me the necessary peace to enjoy every hour given away.
Dream with the gifts, with a delicious dinner, with great joy, hugs and flares welcoming the countdown to midnight to complete the short night, sleep a little and take the first flight after taking breakfast with my mother and kissing my sleeping coneja.
Dream landing back in sunny Cusco and 15 minutes later being under a heavy shower thanking God for this shared joy .
Cell phone rings, , waking from this dream with a smile of gratitude and peace achieved in a parallel reality, to share this Christmas with my family, smile and thank my city smile which opened her skies a few minutes yesterday to let me go and again today to let me through the door of the unknown dimension of the Apus of rain, the Niño Manuelito of Cusco gave my soul this dream as a Christmas gift registered so intensely as a reality.

Si se puede / Yes you can

Cienciano, me has capturado irremediablemente.

Yes we can, can be infected by the worm of Cienciano*, hearing Gato talking about a Checho as a comingo out of the best Greek epic , who as a Quixote fights against the directors and management of his club. Yes you can try to get a ticket for the game in Last Minute.. ... .... You can enter at the stadium despite the thousands who wait at another door to enter, you can hear the coneja say that she does not plan to watch the match standing, without her popcorn and Inca cola and ... .... really get a place in the south part, with popcorn and Coca Cola ... ... ... ..You may not understand or know anyone and still vibrate with the two goals scored, vainly hoping for a repeticion of the move that only happens on television precisely because those few seconds I got distracted.
You can laugh, mourn, fear and jump for joy, all in a minute and then breathe reliefed by staying in the league.
Cienciano, you captured me hopelessly. We are the second and third generations, honoring the memory of that one** who actually visit your classroom and played on the fields at dawn and then took shower in cold water and go to your local.
We are and will be pure heart, leaving the substance on the field and showing that the current imperial city has still its club champion
* Cienciano = soccer team from Cusco, Libertadores Coup champion
** My Father went to the Ciencias school, were the name of the team comes from
